The "Dirty Sons of Pitches" are excited to bring back another year of a game of their own invention, the Fantasy Movie Mogul where players draft movies for their teams and track box-office gains against budgets. It's a chance for the guys to get even nerdier. They also discuss another batch of 'Z Nation' season two episodes, and along the way they talk about the new 'X-Files,' the physical properties of GoGurt, whether anyone has gotten anything useful out of Yahoo Answers, the perils of subscription services, the trailer for the third Purge movie, how bad '50 Shades of Black' gets, and the positives for attracting downloads by putting the word "naked" and "nude" in your title for what is an auditory medium. Available on iTunes. Episode 134 includes: -Find out what the "coolest calcium" could possibly be. -Star Trek news that should excite even non-Star Trek fans. -Ben sings the praises for 'Room' and Jacob Tremblay. -Nate goes into vivid detail about the suck that is "Jem and the Holograms." -'Deadpool' is a fan service character in a fan service movie. -This Week's Game -- Fantasy Movie Mogul! -Ben and Nate draft their teams of film releases from March through the end of August to play the 2016 rendition of their box-office fantasy game. Nerds. -Bonus Discussion: 'Z Nation' Rewatch (episodes 2x06-8) -The guys continue recapping the SyFy zombie series' second season and some major events that transpire for our ragtag heroes.

The "Dirty Sons of Pitches" are celebrating the art of filmmaking this week as they pitch movies about Hollywood, filmmaking, and the studio system, in honor of the new Coen brother film, "Hail Caesar." Ben dishes his opinions on a group of new 2016 releases, the guys talk about an absurd Lifetiem original TV series that was canceled, and discuss the next three episodes of "Z Nation" in their season two viewing. Along the way they talk about what the future of Google will be like, whether Bing is the symbol of the revolution, their love for Liev Schreiber, the most unfortunate FDA-approved product, and whether the glut of superhero films will be looked at as the Western was in the 50s in the future. Available on iTunes. Episode 134 includes: -Behold the amazing TV show following Lizzie Borden... fighting crime? -"World of Tomorrow" may be one of the weirdest Oscar front-runners you'll find, and available on Netlfix streaming to boot. -Ben blasts "The Boy" and "The Fifth Wave" for being predictable and then blasts them even further. We pity Liev Schreiber. -"Kung Fu Panda 3" is the weakest of the trio but still way better than other Dreamworks part 3 movies. -This Week's Pitch -- Movies About Movies! -Ben pitches a cursed script that will bring the apocalypse if produced, a family drama where the family members unknowingly play their parts in the film-version, and a dumb director trying to make his magnum opus about the South winning the Civil War. -Nate pushes for a relaunch of the HBO Latin series "Magnifica '70," a comic docudrama about working for Cannon Films in the 80s, and a workplace series for found footage editors. -Bonus Discussion: 'Z Nation' Rewatch (episodes 2x03-5) -The guys carry on watching and discussing SyFy's zombie series, getting further into the strange whereabouts of season two.

The "Dirty Sons of Pitches" are getting weird like they usually do, this time reflecting upon recent Oscar rule changes and the full impact they may or may not have. To go along with the scary doll horror film "The Boy" the guys are pitching stories about possessed, living, or killer inanimate objects, and you haven't lived until you've heard about Killer Commode. After that, the "Z Nation" watch journeys into the exciting world of season two and even more zombie mayhem. Available on iTunes. Episode 132 includes: -The Oscars are changing their voting rules but will it do the trick? -Ben catches up on a bunch of Oscar movies including "Spotlight," "Trumbo," "The Walk," and "Steve Jobs." -Nate says "Lazer Team" by the Internet comedy group Rooster Teeth needed more attention spent on its comedy. -"The Boy" is 3/4 a decent supernatural horror film about a possessed doll until it throws up its hands and says, "Forget all that, let's make a different, stupid movie!" -This Week's Pitch -- Inanimate Objects! -Ben pitches a film about a haunted toilet that demands blood sacrifices. It is awesome. -Nate pitches a movie about a ghost "personal massager," which then gets the guys thinking about what if "Meet Dave" had a spaceship that was a vibrator. The guys also remember, finally, to talk about the loss of David Bowie and Alan Rickman. We apologize for letting it go this long without comment. -Bonus Discussion: 'Z Nation' Recap (episodes 2x01-2) -The guys kick off season two of SyFy's zombie series by finding out what the fallout is from the explosive season one finale.
