The "Dirty Sons of Pitches" are looking forward to the newest "Star Wars" and hoping for the best, and so this week they're pitching "passing the torch" concepts where the old welcomes the new. The guys also chat over two more episodes of SyFy's "Z Nation" as they're gearing up for the final run of episodes. Available on iTunes. Episode 127 includes: -The guys rehash the "Batman vs. Superman" trailer a.k.a. the entire stupid damn movie. -The last podcast before the new "Star Wars." Will we ever be the same? -"In the Heart of the Sea" is weirdly most interesting with its frame story of Herman Melville. -Ben hesitantly says "Ridiculous 6" might be a portent of "positive" things to come from the Sandler-Netflix deal. This is all relative, though. -Nate declares "Creed" to be the best Rocky sequel, easily. -This Week's Pitch -- Passing the Torch! -Ben pitches a two-hander with an outgoing and incoming president, old gods finding new replacements, and a Chosen One who has been set up. -Nate pitches James Bond adapting to the new world of techno spying, and God looking for a replacement among the most pure and selfless and testing them. -Bonus Discussion: 'Z Nation' Re-Watch (episodes 1x07-08)! -The guys continue their discussion with season one of the SyFy zombie series as things get even more dark and serious (but still fun).

The "Dirty Sons of Pitches" are still recovering from Ben's illness so excuse his raspy dulcet tones once more. This week they're pitching their own Pixar movies in honor of the release of Pixar's "The Good Dinosaur," their second film release of 2015. The guys catch up on a bunch of movies, share their latest short film, say goodbye to the world’s best orange juice pitchman, Robert Loggia, and do their best to make out all the subtext of “Back to the Future” they don’t want you to know. Available on iTunes. Episode 126 includes: -Check out their latest short film, "The Least Dangerous Game" enjoy, folks. -Ben explains all the weird undercurrents of animosity between the McFly spouses in "Back to the Future." -Oscar watch: "Brooklyn" is heartfelt, "Spotlight" is too tightly focused, "The Danish Girl" is tasteful to a fault, and "Room" is one of the best films of 2015. -Ben doesn't get the appeal of the Rocky franchise and "Creed." -Nate says "Mockingjay Part 2" is all climax and yet still feels anti-climactic. -Ben says "The Good Dinosaur" is the weakest Pixar film without "Cars" in the title. -This Week's Pitch -- Ultimate Pixar Movie! -Nate pitches a Pixar movie that looks into the creative offices of Pixar itself. -Ben pitches a Bigfoot fish-out-of-water tale, a land of different animation styles, and the secret world of rocks! ROCKS! -Bonus Discussion: 'Z Nation' Rewatch (episodes 1x06)! -The guys discuss a mid-season resting point with a momentous sixth episode of SyFy's zombie series.
