Dirty Sons of Pitches

The "Dirty Sons of Pitches" are back though Ben's voice is still playing catch-up from his sickness (we apologize for his smoky dulcet sounds). In light of the recently released "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" trailer, the guys are combining the high brow and the low brow in their pitches this week, and then talking about the SyFy Channel zombie show, "Z Nation." Come for the movie discussion, stay for the weird tangents, including one of our possible best concerning a certain refreshment from the 1990s.

Also available on iTunes.

Episode 125 includes:

-Could Mentos be the key legal loophole we've been ignoring all this time?

-Ben questions whether "The Wolfpack" constitutes child abuse.

-Ben raves about Netflix's new Marvel show, "Jessica Jones."

-Nate feels that "Spectre" is the worst of the Daniel Craig Bonds, and yes, he remembers "Quantum of Solace."

-This Week's Pitch -- High Art/Low Art combo!

-Nate pitches a Holocaust doc where the filmmakers have their doubts about whether their subject is actually a good person, and a legal thriller championing the wrong side.

-Ben pitches "A Farewell to Arms and Legs and Heads," a Treasure Island on the Island of Dr. Moreau, and a Moby Dick with Cthulu.

-Bonus Discussion: "Z Nation" Rewatch (episodes 1x04-5)

-The guys continue watching Ben's favorite show on the air as they proceed further into season one of zombie cross-country mayhem.
