Dirty Sons of Pitches

The "Dirty Sons of Pitches" are recording Halloween weekend with a spooky lineup of news including some significant departures from projects that have been eagerly anticipated. They pitch stories during wartime in honor of the WWII movie "Hacksaw Ridge" and return once more to discussing the latest two episodes of "Z Nation." Also enjoy the misplaced Sega CD nostalgia.

Available on iTunes.

Episode 155 includes:

-New Lando is in, Tim Miller is out as director of "Deadpool 2" and Bryan Fuller is out as showrunner for new "Star Trek" series.

-Ben and Nate enjoy "Denial" but wish it would have been a documentary instead.

-"Inferno" is a regression from "Angels & Demons" and the best part is the Italian scenery.

-The guys could only watch one and a half episodes of the truly terrible Woody Allen Amazon six-part series, "Crisis in Six Scenes."

-Mel Gibson returns to glorious bloody life as director of the invigorating "Hacksaw Ridge."

-This Week's Pitch -- Life During Wartime!

-Ben pitches a battle over one house fighting two sides of a war that want the land, reanimated soldiers being ripped out of heaven and hell and chased by demons, and an invasion from the future.

-Nate pitches a war that relies upon soldiers from a parallel world or clones to fight in our place.

-Bonus Discussion: SyFy's 'Z Nation' (3x07-08)

-The guys discuss two of the latest episodes from the third season of the best zombie series on TV, SyFy Cahnnel's "Z Nation."
