Dirty Sons of Pitches

The "Dirty Sons of Pitches" are beaming down a new episode with an emphasis on our first contact with little green men. In honor of the new sci-fi movie "Arrival" the guys are pitching first contact stories and then chat up three more episodes in TV's best zombie series, 'Z Nation.' -Nate pitches a poorly prepared and ill-equipped White House staff fumbling first contact and an idea where the aliens have come to have sex with the ranking Sexiest Man Alive (save us, The Rock!).

-Ben pitches a "West Wing" episode over first contact, aliens landing in North Korea, aliens looking identical to Hitler based upon our early radio waves, and insectoid aliens who think cockroaches are the dominant species.

-Bonus Discussion: 'Z Nation' (episodes 3x08-10)

-The guys chat about the latest three enjoyable zombie episodes and the storylines shaping up for a confrontation.

The "Dirty Sons of Pitches" welcome fan Alex Knerem onto the show for a marvelous discussion over the new superhero supreme, Doctor Strange. The guys ask Alex to open up about some of his favorite films of the year and the gang all discusses the highly enjoyable and highly creative comic film, "Doctor Strange" Ben pitches magic in the real world and to close the threesome plays a game of Movies Against Humanity and reminds each other of the rules.

The "Dirty Sons of Pitches" are recording Halloween weekend with a spooky lineup of news including some significant departures from projects that have been eagerly anticipated. They pitch stories during wartime in honor of the WWII movie "Hacksaw Ridge" and return once more to discussing the latest two episodes of "Z Nation." Also enjoy the misplaced Sega CD nostalgia.

-New Lando is in, Tim Miller is out as director of "Deadpool 2" and Bryan Fuller is out as showrunner for new "Star Trek" series.

-Ben and Nate enjoy "Denial" but wish it would have been a documentary instead.

-The guys could only watch one and a half episodes of the truly terrible Woody Allen Amazon six-part series, "Crisis in Six Scenes."
