Dirty Sons of Pitches

The "Dirty Sons of Pitches" are looking into adapting horror movies into TV shows after the success of "From Dusk Til Dawn" and "Ash vs. The Evil Dead." They then extend their next Rewatch segment into the show Ben has been championing for weeks, SyFy's "Z Nation." Along the way they also talk about White Castle's imminent bowl removal.

Available on iTunes.

Episode 124 includes:

-Police unions are unhappy with Quentin Tarantino and it's not just because of that whole ear torture thing.

-Nate finds "Straight Outta Compton" to be too tame and

-Ben finds the "Peanuts" movie to be the worst filmgoing experience of his life. Wow.

-Ben says "Crimson Peak" is an example of a subgenre of horror that deserves to stay dead.

-This Week's Pitch -- Adapt a Horror Film to Series!

-Nate pitches a "Rosemary's Baby" limited-run series that then transitions to "The Omen" and a modern-day "Freaks."

-Ben pitches a cross country series for "Near Dark," an outbreak drama version following "The Thing," and a case-of-the-week for "Cemetery Man."

-Bonus discussion: "Z Nation" Rewatch (episodes 1x01-03)

-Ben has convinced Nate to watch and discuss his newest favorite TV show. It's just about everything you'd want from "The Walking Dead."
